    Xbox One won't start keep getting "Please try again: For some reason took too long to start. (0x8027025a)" when I try to start my Xbox. If I click close my screen just remains black and after a couple minutes my xbox shuts itself off. Clicking help freezes
    the system completely. Clicking feedback takes me to a preview dashboard update screen that then takes me to my network settings. Trying to log into my wifi doesn't work because when it asks for my password the on screen keyboard disappears and I can't do
    anything. Unplugged the xbox and waited 30 seconds and still nothing.

    Make sure the system has plenty if vent room the. Try unplugging the power brick. See if that works but if not, the brick could potentially be toasted

    The X1 will power on and work without the controller, it will not without the power brick.

    In my eyes, the brick is a component of the system, and not an accessory.

    Can I buy a 3rd party power brick and still have the system covered under warranty if it fries? I'm pretty sure that warranty claim would be declined. However, if it's just an accessory, there should be no issue right?

    Yes. Power bricks are forward-compatible. The oldest bricks can be used to power the final generation of original 360 console.



    360 S uses a new power brick design. It's not directly backwards compatible with original 360 systems.
