syncing music from WP7 to WP8

I have been using unlimited music pass on WP7, but recently updated to WP8. I'm having trouble syncing albums from zune or media player to new phone. when I try and sync it says ERROR - LICENCING AGREEMENT. Just want to know wether it can be done or do I
have to download all them all again.

WP7 Zune Pass upgrade to WP8 XBox Pass

So I have an HTC Trophy with Zune Pass. Over 2000 songs that are mainly subscription obtained. I also have a Windows 7 PC with the Zune software. I want to get the new Nokia Lumia 928 which is a WP8. I have heard nightmares about people on WP7 trying to
migrate their music over to WP8. Everything from DRM issues to the lack of playlists. This will make or break if I buy the WP8. Anyone have any insight/instructions for a WP7 guy who wants WP8 and must have his music? I don't want to redownload all of this
music but that sounds like what I have to do. Please eduacate me! TIA!

If you are using Windows Phone 8, you will need to use either the Windows 8 Store App, or the Windows Phone 8 desktop client to sync music across to your phone as the old Zune client and Media Player are not supported.

To add on to what IRB said, you'll also want to verify that the account on your phone is the same one you use for your Music Pass. You can verify that at Settings > Email+accounts > MS Account.

hopefully they fix achievement syncing on wp7, wp8 and wp8.1

@Mister Parks, thank you for the reply but WP app for W8 only syncs WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER (and ZUNE) playlists. How FUNNY is that: the desktop windows phone app for WP8 doesn't even deal with XBM playlists.

@J3di Mindtrick2, thank you for the reply - I will look at doubltwist..

however, the main issue is still here - with WMP or Windows Phone App for WP8, it only syncs my local collection. I have XBM Pass and would like it to sync both.. today, I can sync my music BUT to get my music pass music LOCALLY on my phone, I have to INDIVIDUALY,
while on the phone itself, select each song (individually) and download the song (did I mention INDIVIDUALLY

)

XBM and WP8 have made a complete mess of my local collection metadata and my playlists - as a longtime user of Zune (and a fan of all things MS as I develop in their enterprise software) - this XBM is a complete FAIL.

this cannot be the answer... every Apple/Android fanboy must be chuckling to no end... The sad thing was I used to make fun of them showing off my Zune music pass on both my zunehd and my WP7 - wireless syncing of music pass music AND sideloading podcasts
- sideloading WIRELESSLY and automatically when I plugged my WP7 device in for the nightly charge... auto-magic goodness now completely gone from MS...
