    Syncing has suddenly stopped working...


    Good afternoon -

    I noticed yesterday that data syncing for all titles has pretty much stopped on my Xbox One. I get the pop up screen and then the bar, but no progress. After a few minutes, I get the 0x80832003 error. Titles impacted are Mass Effect Legendary and AC Valhalla. Those are installed to my Xbox and are owned titles.

    I have tried the hard reset, the factory refresh, power cycled my modem and router with little success. Occasionally after a hard reset I can get the game to sync one time. A second attempt leads to the above error. I have also reset the MAC address and cleared the BluRay cache. I left home about 30 minutes ago and performed a hard power down and unplugged. Going to let the box sit for a few hours and see what it does.

    Are there any other possible solutions? I say 'solutions' because nothing I have found on websites or forums seems to be working.

    FWIW - I had a three month Game Pass membership whose expiration corresponds with this problem - I own both the games affected, but could there be a correlation?

    Here is the latest:

    Power cycled modem and router. Would not sync. When I go to network settings, test network speed and statistics I get great numbers. However, updates are just sitting in the queue and not downloading. I think this has to be relative to the sync issues.

    These tests were done following a full and total system restore-basically scorched earth.

    Why is my console showing great network numbers but apparently not actually connecting to the xbox servers/cloud?

    Since it worked using a wired connection, I would advise you to try to soft reset your console: Select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps.

    Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

    Ok...weird...I ran an ethernet from my orbi satellite to the console and it synced.

    However, the word connection showed a strict NAT and that UPnP was not successful. That's an unknown language to me.

    Tried hotspot. No improvement. All internet tests come back good on the console.

    So I have removed my profile, soft reset my console, re-linked my profile and same problem.

    When I try to report a problem through the console- guess what-I get the synching issue with the report a problem app. What the heck!

    The article says to report the problem through the mobile apo, but I can't find that feature in the app. I have no idea what has happened, but it is absolutely maddening.
