Syncing data with Fallout 4

A plea to anyone that can help..

I am having the same problem as many other people, where FO4 gets stuck syncing data. The loading bar comes up and stops at about 6%. I have tried every suggestion on this forum as well as reddit including:

- Hard reset of console (turning it off and on)

- Deleting local saves

- Going offline, restarting, going onto Fallout and going back online

- I waited for an unacceptably long time (nearly 1 hour) and got on the game ONCE, so I thought it would be a good idea to delete all of the saves but two, thinking this would help, but it didn't.

I am shocked by the overall response from Microsoft, as all of the help seems to be coming from the community.. There is no way I'm buying any of the DLC if I can't play the game. If I had just bought the game I would be asking for a refund right now.. anyway,
rant over, and any insight whatsoever would be hugely appreciated!

Sync cloud data not working again and again....

I am having sync problems with Fallout 4. Every time I want to play I get syncing data for Fallout 4. On Saturday when it did this it took 3-4 hrs. All these problems started after my xbox one did an update

 

99% syncing data

My Fallout 4 disk has been on 99% syncing data and I have reset my internet and hard turn off my xbox one five times now. Need help is my save going to get delete if i just quite the game syncing data

 

Hey, Austin! Have you made sure that your console is set as your Home Console? That seems to resolve most users with this issue. Try that out and let me know if that gets you all resolved.

(Side note: deleting local saves actually makes this process longer, so we try to not suggest it. Once you set your console as your Home console, it should go faster.)

This might not be much help but I had the same issue and noticed that once I used an external hard drive and moved FO to it, the syncs moved MUCH MUCH faster.

I did have a problem at first (before the external HD) with the game not syncing even when the local saves were deleted. What I noticed is that during the sync, it was pulling down new games (like it should) but there were so many that there was a memory
leak (my assumption on why it just chokes after syncing for too long) so I kept deleting all local files (other than the 3 I wanted to keep) and then syning, and then waiting for it to hang, then deleting the "new" ones that were copied down, and then repeating
the whole process again until the backlog of saved games in the cloud was cleared. I think it took me 6 or 7 loops to get everything cleared out. It's a ridiculous problem and since I move between 3-4 consoles I feel your pain. Good luck.

 

Guys, i have same issue as Austin and i've done it all! i had xbox 500gb and yesterday i bought the new one - bundle with 1tb HDD, now when i'm trying to enter the game the system syncing the save games but it's taking a lot of time to sync (1 percent each
20 minutes and that's a lot) . what can i do in order to fix this issue and not lost any save game?

 

Got to 99% then froze. Hard turn off. Go offline. start the game and you should be able to play from a saved game, hopefully one of the latest saves. If you get to this point delete as many of the old saves as possible as these are what makes the sync tae
forever. I deleted all but five of the most recent. Save where you are and quit the game, go online, restart and let sync, should be alot quicker and no freeze. This worked for me and I went through everything including complete uninstall the whole game. Luckily
although it orignally froze on99% these saves were still on the main system
