Discus and support syncing data from the cloud: advise plz.? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Ok so I did a factory reset to sort a forza dlc issue,week or so back,and when came to actually play pstar golf after the 3gb update I had the syncing...     Ok so I did a factory reset to sort a forza dlc issue,week or so back,and when came to actually play pstar golf after the 3gb update I had the syncing data screen..but...I had 2 boxes to choose the data to sync,one was dated the 15th jan and saying older,
    the older word highlighted in white....and a second box dated 23rd jan saying newer highlighted in green....now having noticed that if you dont sync when it asks you,you can loose saved data..I chose the older sync box presuming that was previous game data
    and not the newer one,,, everything in pstar golf seems to be fine..did I choose the right data?

    I hate having to ask a n00b question, but...

    What are you trying to accomplish? If you're trying to start a game over, just delete the local save data, then when you start a game it will start to sync the cloud data. Just press the button to cancel this sync and you should be able to start a game fresh. Then when you play the game next time, it may say something like your save data is out of sync. Would you like to use the cloud or local save. Select to use your new local save, then it will start syncing that one to the cloud from then on.

    Alternatively, you can just create a new Xbox Live account and play the game on that.

  3. Couldn't sync data with cloud.

    Been trying to play Forza 6.

    Upon startup, it says syncing data. Gets to about 16% then pops:

    We couldn't sync your data with the cloud just now

    Try syncing again or use this game or app offline. ()

    I've tried again numerous times.

    I've even uninstalled and reinstalled Forza 6.

    Any issues with the cloud? With FM6?

    I have no clue. I understand you are not from the the USA, but would you mind typing in complete sentences? Also may I ask what was the need for a factory reset? A system reboot clears up most if not all problems.

  5. Cool @x24 my puncuation isnt the greatest,lol.oh the factory reset was for;the forza vip pass that id downloaded from the store ended up being locked to one profile on my xbox one;keeping in mind that there are 4 profiles on my xbox(wife n kids).Now it was
    all set up on home console and family correctly,but this bit of dlc wouldnt share across all 4 profiles.3 teir 3 advocacy people still havnt been able to solve the issue and as of date it is still down to a fix from MS , they make the game.this has been going
    on since 27th dec.Even if you uninstalled it , it just said ready to install,and even if you did on another profile it was still unavavaliable to use bar the original profile it was purchased by,ive never come across anything so complecated.so the only option
    was,was to factory reset in hope that it would remove the thing,and repurchase it for the other profile it was wanted to be used on,b4 putting that other profile back on the xbox 1.Teir 3 still havnt got a solution for this.

    Dude no offense intended but that is very hard to read. Forza content isnt shareable across profiles

    -

    They are in process of refunding me for the original forza vip pass purchased because it didnt share and is meant to.I will make sure I add spaces,you must be on a 7 inch tablet or phone?

    You cant share the pass. Its restricted to the GT that downloaded the content
