Syncing account information, Hotmail - Outlook.

I have an X Box 360 signed in with my Hotmail account and have the Gold member ship, and I just bought the X Box One and signed in with that using my Outlook account. I was thinking they were the same. I used a gift card and bough a game through the store
and noticed that my Gold account was not showing. Is there a way to merge the two accounts into one so I could use my Gold subscription on my X Box One?

Trying to Move XBOX account from Hotmail to Outlook ID.

Why don´t you just upgrade to Outlook with your hotmail account?

That is one click and it does it all alone.

You will still have the @hotmail but it will be a Outlook account.

It is that easy.

Go to your hotmail and click in the right bottom corner I think.

It should say upgrade to Outlook.

You will have all your stuff in Outlook.

You don´t need to switch e-mail addresses

Offline Profile to Gamertag

You need to use a hotmail/outlook account.

You could put both accounts on the Xbox One and share the Live Gold as well as the games belonging to each. Unfortunately you can't merge the purchases of one account with another but the Xbox One does have a share feature.

Yes, it say's to check your e-mail (your Live/Hotmail/outlook e-mail account) for more information.

the account connected to my old gamertag is a microsoft account, but it doesn't have @outlook or @hotmail) and the new email account that I want to be connected to my old gamertag is also a microsoft account but @gmail, not @outlook or @hotmail
