Discus and support sync reset? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; After being without internet for about 8 months, I finally reconnected and updated everything.     sync reset?


    After being without internet for about 8 months, I finally reconnected and updated everything. On my Witcher III Wild Hunt files, it synced, then reset everything and now I'm about 80 gameplay hours off of where I was in the game. Really don't want to restart
    a game that broad. Any ideas or suggestions appreciated.

    Hi, you are pressing the sync button on the console and then the sync button on the controller? What happens when you try to sync the controller?

    Xbox Black screen after most recent update.

    Press and hold the sync button (on the left side of xbox) and the eject button (on the front) and tap the power button once while holding sync and eject. Wait until you hear the second beep to release the sync and eject. This will take you to the factory reset screen then click reset to factory settings. There is an option to either reset and keep all games and apps or reset fully to original factory settings. Hope this helps!

    Controllers are not syncing

    Be sure that you are pressing the sync button on the console and controller at the same time in order to sync your controller. A hard reset and then performing that usually fixes my syncing issues.

    Same issue here. In fact, the reason I am maxed on devices is that I had to reset my phone once (which is now listed twice) and I just reset my Surface RT - the old one is still here (as a "ghost") and I now can't sync with it sync I reset it. Can't remove
    either the old version of the phone or surface. Devices are the same, just reset them.
