Sync Games Data Issue

It's been 3 days since I'm experiecing error while trying to sync game data saves from the cloud to the console. I'm simply unable to retrieve any of my games saves from the cloud and so I'm unable to play any game (not without loosing my progress).

This is just UNACCEPTABLE. I've contacted Xbox Support on Twitter but they just ask me to do the same walkthrough over and over again. My Network connection is OK, no package loss, latency within normal parameters.

What I have tried so far without any luck:

1) Power cycle my console (many times)

2) Delete local save data

3) Set my console as my home console

4) Reinstall a 40GB game

None of this work.

So basically, as of now, I have a console that I can't use and Xbox support did nothing to help me.

Should I give up and return my Elite console and get a PS4 instead?

Yeah with an online game it's not on MS, the game requires the update to sync to server, without it there would be issues.

Such a drag you guys have data caps or slow speeds.

The Reddit workaround doesn't work for me anymore, and when trying to sync my data from the cloud it takes close to 20 minutes to reach 99% and stalls there for a while then fails. This is the only game that won't sync for me. The save data is only 8.8
MB, this shouldn't be happening. I mentioned the sync issue to some friends, literally every single one of them are experiencing both the Calibration issue and the save sync issue.

 

Remove your profile frome the console , shut down everything , then when it's all back up , re add your profile ...

 

I have already tried that. Twice. Manually deleting my account and using the reset but keep my apps and games on my xbox.

 

I have been having this exact issue for a few days. All troubleshooting steps fail. Syncing 20MB for Rise of Tomb Raider fails at 40-50%% after 15 minutes. The message is "We could not sync your data. Please try again later or player offline." Error code
is blank (). For some unexplained reason though, I found that connecting via my phone's hotspot works - and I synced ~1.5GB of Fallout 4 data in 30 minutes. It's lucky I have this temporary work-around or I would have been stuck.

All other Xbox network functions, game updates and downloads, work without any issues with my normal Centurylink DSL connection. Network and multiplayer tests pass with flying colors. it's just the cloud data syncing that's failing.

 

Sorry guys that you having this issue have you tried resetting your modem and or router for 5 mins then plug it back in to reset also are your ports forwarded properly to allow game sync to function correctly. I wont mention power cycling the console since
you have done this multiply times already. All the trouble shooting steps are done from what I see already expect power cycling the modem and router for 5 min the allowing the Xbox to refresh the DHCP Address or if your on static ip make sure that nothing
is conflicting or associated with the ip address.

 

I to have same issue with this rubbish xbox one none of thr troubleshooting stepas works. Better off removing the useless cloud all together it does not work and let us save our games like we can on xbo 360 with a usb this will fix issue

 

Odd. Not only is your game data saves from the cloud out of sync, but so is this thread (date and time), and yours only.

 

Just to let people know: none of the troubleshooting steps worked, not even power cycling my modem. After 10 days trying everything without being able to play my games I tried one last step: factory reset my Xbox One and re-download 1TB+ of games expecting
this would do.

Well, it did not. Same issue on new installed games. So I just accepted the fate that I have lost ALL my progress.

Even to get things working again was a PAIN: had to manually delete local/cloud game saves. After that I could finally play the games again (from the scratch obviously).

So thank you MS!

 

For all that is holy, how is this issue not fixed yet, I am trying to sync Halo MCC and on the 15th try still no luck

Before anyone tries to give me the troubleshooting steps, this has been happening as far back as I can remember

Same issue, but different consoles, have had two different ISP's, multiple modem/router configurations, hard resets, profile deletions

God knows how many games this has happened in since I got my 1 TB xbox back in November, the games with the smaller save files usually do it in two tries which is alright, but the bigger save files

I know my profile has a massive amount of data, but I have never had an issue with cloud syncs on xbox 360

And don't even get me started on achievements, constantly not getting any notifications, a quantum break one says 100% but still hasn't popped since the day the game came out so there goes a 100% completion

For all the good the cloud does, why is so much broken

It just feels like there is a tier of servers, where downloads, party, online gaming is tier 1, and then cloud saves and achievements are on the last possible tier lol I can easily download 12 GB in an hour but its taking ages to download possibly 100 mb(probably
not even) of save data

 

I'm off to bed, I'm going to try this after work tomorrow, again and again and again and again, hopefully it syncs before midnight so I can pop the play halo 3 ODST on the 22nd of a month achievement

I have invested a lot of time and money into this eco system as can be seen from my gamerscore, I love xbox but if I had someone over that hasn't bought one yet and they would see this issue as what happened when I tried to play NHL 16 a few weeks ago with
my friend, we spent an hour trying to sync it and we couldn't play it, it eventually synced the day after but its pretty annoying this keeps happening 2.5 years after a consoles launch
