Sync button not working

Ok so I’ve watched multiple YouTube videos and read a bunch of Reddit’s post about it but none of them seem to be the same thing so this happened once before but I took off the side panel and pressed the button from the back and it started working for me but now it the sync button stopped working again but here’s the thing it still makes the ding sound button the Xbox button on the console doesn’t flash so I was thinking maybe it’s the Bluetooth connection on the console?

First try a power cycle by turning off the console and unplug it from the wall. Let it sit for about 2 minutes and then turn it back on.

Try to turn off the console and remove the power cord; wait for 1 to 2 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the console and check again!

Can you tell me what model the xbox is? I’m assuming xbox one, but is it a one x or one s or something else?

On my model, the first button to the left is a disc drive
