Hello!

I am trying to get rid of my xbox on my lap top I never use and hook it up to my son's xbox so he can use it and I cant quite figure out how. Someone please help?

Gameshare question

I know that when you gameshare with someone you make their account your home Xbox. But what if I want to Gameshare with two friends? Would I have to keep switching their accounts as home back and forth?

Hi Michelle,

Thanks for reaching out to us! We understand it can be confusing when trying to manage the Xbox Profile(s).

Are you trying to remove the Gamertag off of the Xbox App through Windows 10? If so,

launch the Xbox App

click the 3 lines on the left hand side

Go to settings

Click Sign out and remove account

Is your son trying to use the Xbox Console itself using the PC monitor as the screen?

change the primary email.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

I apologize but swapping the account is not an option. It will only be possible by changing the alias but please be cautious in performing the steps because when removing an email alias that’s connected to a Microsoft domain (such as @Outlook.com, @Live.com, or @Hotmail.com), that email is completely deleted from our systems and can’t be used to send or receive emails. It won’t be available for use again as an alias on another account. Microsoft doesn’t recycle email addresses, so they can’t be reclaimed at a future time.

You can't you cannot only change the alias if it's an external email

Any outlook account is a ms account

I think it might be easier to create a brand new email. Or just follow the steps in the link you posted
