Switching on xbox with xbox controller but controller unable to connect to xbox afterwards

I'm experiencing a weird issue with my Xbox one s. I can toggle on directly from my Xbox controller. However, after the Xbox finishes loading, the controller is not connected to the Xbox.

The following steps I took to rectify the problem is, to hold 10 secs to off and on the controller. Otherwise, to resync the controller to the Xbox. However, if resyncing the controller, it does not connect immediately, it requires several tries before it
gets connected.

Anybody has any solution or experiencing the same problem? Please advise.

xbox one controller unable to connect to bluetooth on pc

hi, my xbox one controller connects on console perfectly via usb cable and also wirelessly but on pc it connects via cable only my Bluetooth device on pc is unable to detect controller but other devices shows normally. any help will be appreciated. thanks

Controller disconnects when used to turn on the console

Hey guys, so I’ve been facing this issue ever since I bought the Xbox One X.

When I hit the home button on my controller the Xbox will power on just fine, however, the controller will lose sync shortly after. I am unable to re-sync the controller with the system using the sync buttons when this happens but it does sync back up if
I just turn the controller off and then turn it back on. If I turn the Xbox on using the button on the front of the console and then turn on the controller afterwards everything works just fine.

The problem only seems to occur when using the controller to power on the console.

Any ideas or suggestions?

To connect one controller, first insert the batteries. Then, press and hold down the xbox symbol on the controller. It should then light up green. But, if you're trying to connect a second xbox controller, on your console there should be a button on top
of the memory card insert place near the bottom of the xbox, below the green power switch. Press it, then on the controller you are trying to connect, press the xbox button. It should then light up.

I have the same problem. I think it was caused by a controller update (version from 17.11.2021). I enjoyed the new fast switching feature between Xbox and Bluetooth devices (double click pairing button).

Switching controller between Xbox/Bluetooth devices - OK

Xbox connection - OK

Android mobile connection (bluetooth) - OK

PC Win10 USB connection - OK

PC Win10 Bluetooth connection - does not work. the pairing will be fine but controller does not work.

Xbox One S, 2pcs XboxOne controller, Windows 10 completely updated.

resolved issue - update Windows 10 21H2.

DS3 is Dark Souls 3, I am playing it through steam and no it had the issue the moment I connected it to my pc. I am unable to use the Xbox Accessories App to update my controller because it does not recognize a controller being connected. When I look in my device manager the controller is labeled "HID-compliant game controller" I am able to deactivate it and it deactivates my controller. But it seems that Xbox Accessories doesn't register my controller properly even if my computer does. I am also unable to use my Xbox Elite 2 controller with steam but it works with other games. I've already updated both controllers using my Xbox One S.

I am unable to connect any controller to my xbox, unless a cable is used.

Have tried all the tricks on you tube yet no it’s not possible for me to connect a controller unless it is with cable.
