Switching off at the power point

Mine works, but I switch my console off at the power point every night. Using hdmi

Optical obviously does not work.

Could be on to something though....

My son says it was turned off at the power point overnight and he tried to turn it on in the morning via the controller.

He then realized it was switched off at the power point but has not been able to get past the light/chime since.

Perhaps the controller and console have lost contact with each other?

Switch the power point off leave for a few seconds then switch on again if it does same thing again. See if u can resync the remote. If this doesnt work might take it to ea games and get them to send it away for repair your sensors might need replacement.

That sounds... odd. The power brick doesn't have an on/off switch and the console's "switch" is really just a power switch relay like a PCs, not an actual power on/off switch.

The power brick isn't user servicable, like most PC power supplies. I assume you've tried swapping power bricks with a working console to see if the problem is the brick or the console?
