    wont play online, says cant use profile.

    After switching to xbox live free from the gold membership. i cant play MW3 using my profile.... whats the problem?

    Hi there, Xbox live Gold subscription is linked to your Gamerag profile account, so switching from Xbox 360 to Xbox One does not require a transfer or repurchase of Gold subscription

    you cannot if it was a recent gold purchase you could contact support and they could cancel it and give you a token to redeem it on the correct account.

    I have been messaging some of my friends and it seems all of them that this has happened too have switched Microsoft accounts at some point & maybe that is why the Xbox one isn't seeing the full gold time i have had? since some of the billing info from years
    ago is missing as it was on a previous Microsoft account ( Live ID back then ) But I have always had a gold membership as it just used to be on auto renew anyway.

    Thank you Smwutches! My account was created in Great Britain and I went to account migration and switched to Finland. I lost my 12 moth live gold but at least every thing should by in order :D any ideas if my previous games (which i buyed them from xbox
    in Finland) would work after this change?

    Thanks a lot again man! I've been crazy about replaying fallout 3 and new vegas :D
