Switching Microsoft Accounts, but Xbox account won't disassociate

I'm currently trying to move my Xbox account from one Microsoft account to another. I've already created a temporary MS Account, waited the 30 days, and performed the move to said temporary account.

However, the Xbox account I wish to discard will not disassociate from its old MS account, and I'm now stuck with 3 Microsoft Accounts that are associated to just 2 Xbox accounts. I'm able to log in to the transferred Xbox account (this one) using both the
old and new MS account.

Please advice.

I would suggest to verify the security on the accounts by going here:
account.live.com/summarypage.aspx click on Security & Password, verify the security on the Temporary account, then try again on your 360 okay.

Also sometimes when you do this musical MSA's the console gets confused, so First step is to log into xbox.com with the profile it is supposed to be on, if the desired gtag is there try deleting the profile from your console, clear the cache 3x (guide>settings>system>storage>
HIGHLIGHT [do not select] a storage device> Y button> clear cache> YES; repeat x 3), power cycle your console (turn off console using the power button and remove power cord from console for a full timed minute) and dl profile using the MSA it is supposed to
be associated with.

NOTE!! If you log into Xbox.com and it prompts you to create/complete a profile STOP you would create a new gtag and have to start over again.

to disassociate a xbox live account from a Microsoft Account, you will need to move that xbox live account to another Microsoft Account.

This is an error that occurs often. You need to disassociate the account on here from your microsoft ID account, and make sure your actual gamertag is the sole account using the proper email.
