Switching Games pass PC A/C without Reinstalling

Hi,

I have an active subscription for xbox games pass PC with my own personal account. It will expire around the 21st of May.

I want to renew the subscription. However I wish to use my son's email for the same as he is the one using it. I did not have the foresight when I purchased it for him.

1.Can I transfer the current subscription to his account?

2. Can I buy a new subscription for him but not reinstall all the games? Due to the COVID lockdown, the internet speed is very bad.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

Right now you currently cannot transfer your subscription to Xbox Game Pass, however. When it expires all the games that you had installed whether on your PC or Xbox, will stay installed. What you should do is buy the subscription for him and have him log
in to the PC or Xbox. All the games that you have previously installed (that still are eligible for the game pass) will be ready.

Uninstalled xbox. Reinstalled and payed for a subscription again. When i pressed install the game it is the same. Switching to C: and stops at 24.2GB and it is 53.6 gb file.

To play Minecraft on a Windows PC, you typically need to be logged into the Microsoft Store with the account that owns the game. This is due to the way Microsoft manages game licenses and user authentication.

However, if you have Minecraft through Xbox Game Pass, and your Windows 11 account has access to Game Pass, you can play Minecraft without switching accounts. Game Pass allows for family sharing, so as long as the account with Game Pass is set as the home account on your PC, all profiles on that PC can access its games.

I have followed your instructions to the letter, but unfortunately the problem persists.

I got an update from Gaming Services, and since then when I want to install a game from GamePass PC or Windows Store, the download stalls at 0% with the Visual C++ 2015 UWP Desktop Runtime Package telling me if be installed on each installation attempt.

I also reinstalled the Xbox application, deleted the Gaming Service and reinstalled it, unchecked the ipv6 of my network... all without success. I've already reinstall Visual C++ 2015, without success too .

I've never had a problem in over 4 years of Gamepass.

My Windows 11 is up to date. Can you help me ?

same issue ... can't update any xbox game pass PC games....

have to uninstall /reinstall.

other apps (that are not xbox game pass) are uptated through store without any issue.

for microsoft: dead cells has no cloud saves through xbox live (working on outer world/gears 5..but not dead cells)
