    Basically i am thinking of switching from an xbox one to the new xbox one S however.... i was wondering how i can transfer all my games/memory onto the new xbox

    Are you trying to make a new profile? You can use the same profile on both the 360 and One.

    Sign into your account on the One S, redownload your games from your ready to install area of your games and apps (or attach an external hard drive if you're using one). As long as you've been online, your game saves are on the cloud and will download when

    ^This. If you don't have an external HDD yet, now would be a good time to get one. Plug it into your old Xbox One, transfer all your games/data to the HDD and they'll be ready to use on the new One S without having to re download everything.

    There's no point in switching hard drives from your broken original Xbox to the Xbox One S. If you want more storage space simply buy an external hard drive.
