Switching from Gold Account to Silver account

Hey Guys,

When I switch from Gold account to Silver account, using an in-game switch profile
option, it is observed that silver account can access to Multiplayer features, is it buy design?

Not sure then. Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in
and restart the console.

Hey,

Thanks for the reply, but active gamertag is displayed for 'Silver' Account and also silver account can access multiplayer.

Although, when the user switches from Silver account to Gold account, user is unable to access Multiplayer.

Is this an Issue?

This is by design through the Home Console feature on the Xbox One. Every account has 1 home console association and this allows digital content & subscriptions to be shared with other accounts on the same Xbox, so essentially a Silver account would have
access to the Gold subscription from the account that owns it. I suggest looking over our support article

"How to designate an Xbox One console as your home Xbox" for more information about the game and subscription sharing on the Home console.

Yes, hard rebooted the console twice.

the same behaviour is observed.

any further thoughts on this? or you want me to report an issue?

If they are on the same xbox they share the live features of the gold account
