    can't seem to find the option for switching between transmission types. in Forza Motorsport 5 it was under driving assists but can't seem to find anything on this game

    I only use Manual Transmission in NFS Carbon and Forza Motorsport 5 because Automatic Transmission is horrible switching from automatic transmission to manual transmission :(

    I LOVE THIS GAME switching from automatic transmission to manual transmission :)

    I am using "manual" transmision, not automatic transmission because you the amount of control that you loose with the automatic transmission is ridiculous. I love my fully customized Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 9 MR switching from automatic transmission to manual transmission :)

    Thank you very much for your feedback regarding this matter, I really appreciate it :)

    I started with "automatic" transmission when I played Need For Speed 3: Hot Pursuit for the Playstation One (The car, "El Nino" is awesome). Then, I learned to use "manual" transmission and I was unable to go back to "automatic" transmission again.

    Or it sounds like you have manual transmission on. Check your settings and turn it to auto or you'll need to manually switch gears.
