    Switching emails, please help.


    Hi, I hope you all have the time to read this. I currently play on my Xbox One and my old email address (which I do not use anymore) is still on my Xbox (you know in the top left corner where your name and email-address appears?). I have a new email address
    and I would like to know, can I update my old email address that I use for my current Xbox which has my progress and data for my games which I started them on, and update my Xbox with my new email-address without affecting my data and progress?

    In other words, will all my progress on my games be saved if I just update the current email-address to my new one? (Especially if I did this on my actual Xbox) I want to switch the email-addresses but I am afraid my progress will be gone and have to start
    over again.

    At this time the gamertags cannot be moved to new accounts. Sorry.

    Please be informed that switching alias or email doesn't mean your game data or account data will be switched as well. Your game data will remain on the original account with different alias.

    Hi there, you can move a gamertag to a different Microsoft account only once every 30 days. This includes new gamertags downloaded from Xbox Live.
