Switching Email addresses for Xbox Live

I have an old @hotmail.com account I used originally when I setup my Xbox Live Account. I have now switched to a @Live.com email address and I wan't to stop using my Hotmail account. There doesn't seem to be a way to switch. I spent 45 minutes on the
phone with Xbox Support last night and they basically said there is nothing I can do, since I want to go from a Microsoft Email account to a Microsoft email account.

There has got to be a way to reassociate my gamertag with another email address. (I can't use the Alias directions online since it doesn't work with 2 Microsoft accounts).

If your getting an error submitting that form then you need to reach out to the Microsoft Account team in the link I gave you above or by filling out this little form request

I've tried to do what they suggested but I keep getting errors on the final OK button.

This can be done with Microsoft accounts or other non-Microsoft emails.

So I tried that but I get the error, "This email address is part of a reserved domain." So its basically not letting me switch to live.com which is owned by Microsoft. Any other ideas?
