So I have a main email account I use since the beginning of time that's connected to a gamertag that I used for 1 month so I can use that free Gold trial to play with friends about 12 years ago, being 12 at the time I couldn't get an actual monthly gold membership as my mother couldn't afford it, an IRL friend made another microsoft/xbox account for me to use which I ended up using all the time for my Xbox 360 days, that was my main Xbox Gamertag account that I still use today on my PC and other Microsoft related games, but now I want my main email to be connected with my main xbox account to fix that mistake I made as a kid, how can I delete my old, unused, Xbox account from my main email so I can move my main xbox account to my main email from the old unused email.

So basically switch

Main Email - Useless Gamertag
Useless Email - Main Gamertag

and make it so it's

Main Email - Main Gamertag

And probably have the Useless accounts deleted

Unfortunately I get this message.

"This email is part of a reserved domain. Please enter a different email address."
So I get the feeling that removing the link between the email and Xbox Live account isn't quite possible

You can log into your xbox profile on a PC. Sign into microsoft.com and go you your profile. To the right of your email that's associated with your profile there is an option to "manage how you sign in" click on that and it will redirect you to log in again and confirm that it's you, once you have done this it gives you the option to add or remove an email address. This should fix your problem, however it would probably be wise to change both so that there is no confusion when you go to log into the account you want to use. Hope this helps!

Hi there, you can move a gamertag to a different Microsoft account only once every 30 days. This includes new gamertags downloaded from Xbox Live.

If you try to move a gamertag before 30 days have passed since the last time you moved it, you’ll get the following error message: Sorry, we can't change your Microsoft account right now.

I'm sorry to hear that your account has been hacked. I suggest that you change your password to something that you aren't using anywhere else. To create a more complex password try using capitals and numbers. It's also important to remember not to share
