Switch Gamertags associated Microsoft Account

Hi there,

I want to switch my old Gamertag to my newer active Microsoft account.

Little Back Story:

When I first created my Gamertag (lets call it Gamertag A) like 10 Years ago i used my first Microsoft account (I will from now on refer to it as Email A). But after starting to work i needed a more serious Email, including my real name etc. (Lets call it Email
B), so I created one.

After installing Windows 8, years later, I of course used my serious and now active Account Email B. Not realizing that signing into a Windows Machine creates a new Xbox Gamertag (Gamertag B) as well. So I now have 2 Gamertags. One active, with all my purchases linked
to my dead Email A. And one Useless Gamertag with no purpose whatsoever linked to my active Email B.

My Question being: How the Heck do I get my Gamertag A linked to my Email B?

p.s.: I do have access to a Win 10 Machine and a Xbox One if that is necessary.

thank you. Sadly I already tried that guide you referred me to. Only getting errors that I can't use a new email which is already bound to a Xbox Tag or other Microsoft Services. I will try reaching out to the Hotline next.

In the meantime i would like to share another reaaaaaally weird bug(?). When I do not log in and open this thread. My Gamertag in the Post changes from my new to my old gamertag
