    Back when i set up my Microsoft account on my new xbox one i made 2 gamertags to the same email by mistake, one just a default name and unused and one i use. I want to make a purchase on the account i used on xbox.com becuase my paypal wont work on my xbox
    one, so when i sign in to my microsoft account on my computer it signs in to the default gamertag and not the one i want, how do i switch over to my other gamertag i use so i can make the purchase.

    switching or deleting xbox.com account

    I currently have 2 accounts on xbox.com, each assigned to a different WLID, one of witch has my gamertag linked to. I cant switch my gamer tag over to the other WLID on my console since there there is already an xbox.com account associated with it. Is there
    any way I can switch or delete an account to link my gamertag to the correct WLID?

    Ok so what you do is log into xbox.com click on your profile and at the bottom press change gamer tag or you can do it on Xbox one smart glass hope this helped

    Yes, that is right. Accounts cannot be deleted. If you sign in to Xbox.com using an email address that has no gamertag, you will automatically be given a free one.

    You can only change the email address of the gamertag using the console only for security purposes. A security measure to prevent hackers from easily changing or manipulating the account.

    You need to download the profile on your console and let it sit in for 30 days. After 30 days, the system will the allow you to switch the gamertags MSA. Here are the instructions: support.xbox.com/.../switch-gamertag-to-different-microsoft-account

    Support is telling me that when you sign in to Xbox.com with a microsoft ID you are given a new random gamtertag... Giving me more headaches because now I can't switch this gamertag to that email until I get rid of that gamertag. Sweet setup ya got there
