Switch Gamer tag

Hi if you are simply changing your gamer tag then yes it will as it will switch to the new gamer tag.

Hello dennisgallagher-2015, Gamertags are directly associated with the Microsoft account you've signed in to and purchase your games and subscriptions, so you can't delete a Gamertag from a Microsoft account, but you can exchange it.

It sounds like you used a different email on your phone than the one that was registered to Karol201. It therefore gave you a new Gamertag for this email address.

Use an Xbox 360 console to find out what the email associated with Karol201 is, then use that email address on the Windows Phone.

Unfortunately to switch out the Microsoft Account (MSA, the email) you need to reset the phone to factory settings and then set it up as new, using the right MSA. To reset, go to Settings/About/Reset.

If I purchased something in a bundle but one of the items I already have how to return just that items????

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. I'm sorry to inform you the option to transfer/merge saved data, achievements and any/or game purchases from one account to another Microsoft Account will not be possible. We currently do not have an available
feature. The one step we have available is changing the primary email on the Microsoft
account. You can however set up home console on
your main profile. Note: If you choose to remove an alias that uses a Microsoft domain such as @hotmail.com, @outlook.com, or @live.com, that alias will be completely deleted and will not be available to
sign in to any Microsoft services. A Microsoft and Xbox account are one and the same.
