    When attempting to switch my gamertag to another Microsoft account, I am given the following error:

    Sorry, there's a problem with the Xbox service. Try again later. For help with this problem, go to www.xbox.com/errorhelp.

    Status code: 8016FE6D

    I have attempted to do this with both the account I would like it to switch to and a freshly created dummy account.

    Hello N431LM,

    I am sorry for this error you are receiving. In order for you account to switch accounts the new Account must be on the Xbox for a full-30 days. This is for security reasons. After that please make try to switch accounts over. However, with any new email
    its recommend that you wait 48 hours. Also, please clear your system cache: Settings, system, storage, Hover-over the hard-drive and click (Y). After that click clear system cache. Please do this 3-times to ensure all un-needed files are cleared.
