Swapping out xbox one top plate?

I've always wanted to treat myself and design a console but just haven't yet. Last generation I started picking up some "Special Edition" 360's when they released. This go around I've started to collect controllers. Maybe one day.

I really like Decalgirl and the stuff on there. Also from what i have heard it is nice quality and easy to apply and remove.

And you can design your own look using the template and you can get it made exactly the way you want. Awesome stuff. Microsoft should promote these as a non-modification violation "mod" of the Xbox.

Or better yet buy the Xbox One console and get one free choice of skin from Decalgirl Good advertizing for both companies.

I know what you are saying. I noticed first week I had mine scratches started to show. I cut a small piece of thin plexi glass and put on top of it.( Don't block vents on other side though.) Now you still have the original look and no more scratches. You
cant even tell that there is plexi glass on top when you look at.

check out decalgirl they have some nice skins and you can get them in glossy or matte. I got them for my one and ps4

Ah the old Xbox days a lot of great case mods were made. I was never game enough do my console though.

That's an interesting idea using stainless steel. You won't have to worry about scratches then
