Swapping game from Xbox to PC

I bought the Xbox version of Destiny 2 Witch Queen + 30th Anniversary, however it didn't transfer across to my PC (I can tell because I can't do any of the 30th content when logged on PC, Xbox I have access). Everything else so far has been crossplay and it hasn't mattered if I bought Xbox or PC version.

Is there a way to get it to register on PC that I'm missing?

Or:

Is it possible to 'return' the Xbox version for the PC version?

As I have checked the bundle that you have purchased is not yet released so you should be able to cancel the order via https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders.

I don't think I'm able to because I used Microsoft account funds. At the very least I don't get the option for return/refund on the order history page.

Thanks for the response, it's looking like I'll need to buy it again for PC to get it working for me.

it is not a play anywhere title so you would need to purchase the dlc for pc via the xbox store or steam whichever you use, seasonal passes can be used across multiple platforms if you have cross save enabled.

I think the seasonal pass/cross save is what led me to believe it wasn't going to be the issue it's turned into. I guess I'll be purchasing multiple copies.

There is a different version both for Xbox and PC for the game which means that if you would like to play it on PC or Xbox you need to purchase the game license for both platforms.

In regards to your concern, yes, you can return it since it's not yet released simply cancel the order via https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders.
