    I've been trying to swap the email associated with my account for the last half a month but to no avail. Basically my account was associated with the wrong email address for x reasons and I wanted to change it to the correct one. However after waiting the
    30 days it says to after swapping emails it says I still can't do it, it just comes up with the same "You can't do this at this time" error. Not sure what to do now, and was just looking for some advice. I really would just like to close this email address
    down so that I don't have 5 email addresses floating around.

  2. ERROR 80154023 When changing email account

    I have a BRAND new @outlook email account that isn't associated with any Xbox anything... I'm trying to change my old email associated with my xbox live account to this new email and I keep getting the error code 80154023. It says on the screen to go to
    xbox.com/errorhelp for, well...help, but no error code exists apparently. It should be as simple as swapping out the emails but of course, it isn't.

    Hey mate, did you download the GT to your console?

    It says at the following link: 'Note You also must wait 30 days after your gamertag is downloaded from Xbox Live before you can switch that gamertag to a different Microsoft account.'

  5. I'm pretty sure its on my console, and I've been playing with it since its my only account. I've never had it on a different console so I shouldn't need to right?

  6. Well what that paragraph says to me is that you would need to re-download your account, even if it was still on the console previously for the 30 days to take effect.

    I mean I could be wrong, but if you never re-downloaded it and are having issues changing it again, I'd say there's a good chance that's why it's not letting you.

    Delete and re-download profile:
    support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

    A lot of things with accounts won't sync to the Xbox unless you've re-download the profile, so maybe there is something in there that triggers the 30 days, I'm not sure, but failing that I would contact Xbox Phone support to have them look at the account.

    For email changes, you'll need to make sure that the
    Primary email is verified before changing your security proof(Email or Phone Number). because this is to ensure that your really are the
    account holder.

    If you will attempt to make any changes on your
    account information without verifying the primary email. a
    Recovery form will be sent to the newly provided email.

    A Recovery form is another way of verifying the identity of the account holder, you will be asked provide some information.

    If you can provide enough information that matches on the
    account info (info during account creation), you will receive email for the
    next step.

    If you provided inaccurate info, its like there will be an investigation that will happen on your account and might take up to
    30 days for you to make some changes.

    TIPS: "ALWAYS USE HONEST INFORMATION CAUSE HONEST IT THE BEST POLICY"
