Discus and support SWAP Memory usage... in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; SWAP memory usage is extremely high, inexplicable because I play the game at 720p, with everything on Low, the KI does not have THAT advanced graphics...     SWAP Memory usage...


    SWAP memory usage is extremely high, inexplicable because I play the game at 720p, with everything on Low, the KI does not have THAT advanced graphics as well. The SWAP usage reaches 94% and makes the video driver crash. I notice that the SWAP is disabled
    on my Windows, and i will keep him that way. I have 8 GB of Ram, and a Radeon HD6850. Fix this bug, memory leak, please.

    Um, just a friendly bit of info...that's not memory management, that's storage. Seriously, was excited when I read your title thinking I could adjust my memory usage but then realized you're talking about storing data not volatile memory usage.

    Weird amount of storage on xbox

    That's exactly what I was thinking. I imagine the remaining memory usage is from content that isn't transferrable, such as system information and any installed games.

    Regarding to your information I assume that your new computer has unusual memory usage.

    Could you provide the screenshot of Memory in Task Manager and Resource Monitor?

    From my experience, it may be caused by the Hardware reserved.

    But we still need a screenshot to find the reason why the 100 percent usage of the memory in your computer.



    If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Why is dragging not available in Edge?

    It's a console.browser not a desktop browser you aren't supposed to have multiple windows open

    It causes memory leaks which in chrome is a major issue

    You can inflate memory usage beyond what is normally restricted to browser

    It's sandboxed for a reason

    DDR3 vs DDR4 vs GDDR5

    The thing with what sony used is they used GDDR5 which is graphics memory, it is suitable for certain things but as the main memory for a system then I don't think it is quite good enough, in a way Microsoft should of added 12 - 16 GB of memory to compensate
    for the OS usage or gave the os it's own dedicated ram.
