Swan Dive

Despite searching the internet for a solution I find myself unable to get Lara to swan dive.

I was under the impression that it involves jump (A) followed by LT but I have so far been unable to dive.

Any help would be appreciated.

Tomb Raider Underworld Bug [Help]

The "Master Swan Dive" achievement may not register even though all requirements have been met, please help me.

+1 .... But my inability to perform the last two swan dives is preventing my 100% completion.

 

Yeah, this was pretty tricky for me, too. It is just A and LT trigger, but it seems to work better if I ran, then really quickly tap A, followed by the trigger. Might just take some practice, but it does work!

 

I cannot do swan dive in xbox one game, how to check? tried all ways.

 

I have had a lot of problems with this as well. Unfortunately, it seems that the challenge is glitched. I was able to get Lara to swan dive off the first platform into the lower waterfall ok. After a few tries, I even got her to do the swan dive i to
the well for the achievement. I got her to do a number of swan dives off various ledges etc. in various caves and tombs and such when it was not necessary.

Then I went back to finish the challenge and she will not swan dive from any of the other challenge points, no way, no how. I have tried everything. Some people have had success if they jumped just to the side of the red diving platform, as if the platform
is the glitch, but for me this did not work either. When I hit A + LT, she just crosses her arms across her chest and crosses her legs and goes straight in feet first. Aaaarrghh.

I really wanted to 100% this game, but I have run into a few things like this and I'm wondering if it is possible right now. I really, really hope they fix this stuff. I suggest everybody go to the Square Enix Tech Support forums for Rise of the Tomb Raider
and make your voices heard. They ARE listening- they just fixed an issue I posted about the other day. Thanks!

I got a little tip that helped on the 360 version, and I've used it on the Xbox One version whenever she wouldn't do the dive properly.

Go to just left of the red platform. A running start helps, then press A + LT. There is a definite bug in the 360 version which seems to be solved by this, and it may also help on the One version.

I managed to get the glitched dive on the Xbox One by pressing jump (A) and then B button, instead of the Left Trigger. It DOES also work better if you dive off the left side of the platform. I'm talking about the platform at the very top of that village
that is very hard to get to. The Left trigger dives worked on the other platforms, but on this one, the B button did the trick.
