    Suspension.


    Hey all.

    Okay so earlier today I was playing SMITE.

    Now I've seen this so many times on Xbox so I want to know exactly what's right and wrong here.

    I got swore at, harassed and just came across someone rude, not once did I say any form of swear word until the end when he really started to tick me off, so the outcome of this is now I have a suspension for 24 hours and yet the other guy received nothing
    after I filed my report?

    Where do Enforcement think thy have the right to ban me over a word for a pregnant goldfish compared to the F word being thrown at me?

    What's worse is this stupid pop up on my console.

    No offence but I've seen Enforcement issue a ban to someone when he had the same issue.

    My suggestion?? Get rid of the annoying whining kids on Xbox who think they have the right and maybe it'll be a safer environment eh?

    Does anyone else agree the other person shouldn't have got away with it? I'm happy to repeat the words he used compared to what I said and tell me where you think it's okay to punish me for his stupid idiotic mistakes.

    That's a complaint going into Microsoft first thing in the morning.

    Meaningless Suspension

    Meh, 99.9% of the time suspensions are given because you HAVE done something wrong. I've rarely seen the enforcement team get it wrong.

    Suspension.

    It doesn't matter who starts it, but if you respond in a way that violates the code of conduct, you are equally at fault. In situations like that, it's best to just file a complaint, block communications, and not respond. Enforcement actions are not always
    immediate, so just because they haven't been suspended yet doesn't mean they won't be.

    Hi.

    Not that I don't appreciate your feedback, I've actually been an Xbox Live member since 360 came out, I'm fully aware of how they operate and what they do, they aren't immediate yet within seconds of me receiving the message and I sent a reply I got a suspension,
    where's the logic in not immediate?

    Hi CorruptedPulse1! My name is Ricardo an independent advisor ready to help you with this situation!

    If you haven't received an email notification for the enforcement action you need to do this

    Please perform a power cycle reset, follow these steps:

    Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

    Remove the account from the console

    Restart your Xbox One console. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your Xbox One controller to open the Power Center. Select Restart console and then select Restart. (If the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button  on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button on the console again to restart.)

    After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    Download the account again to the console

    Because you are the one that is suspensded from comms,not your friends.

    Anyway,the enforcement team don't use the forums.

    For info on any enforcement action you have you can go to the enforcement site
    here where you can also file for a case review if eligible.

    Your 2nd suspension would be for a separate offence that happened before you were issued your first suspension.

    You only serve one suspension at a time however if they find something else that violates the terms of a use while are investigating the previous report that's when as daft mentioned when they add another which queues after the previous one finishes

    Best bet be human and you can join the rest of 99.9% of live and be suspension free

    Yes, you only get one chance for a case review. If the enforcement team upholds their decision, there is nothing else that can be done.

    There have been cases where the enforcement team have overturned bans, but they're only overturned if the enforcement team determines they made a mistake when issuing the suspension/ban.
