Suspension system need work?

I keep getting suspended for "harassment" because I respond to a bunch of racist cretins on Xbox live with to-be expected messages. For every N word said to me.... For them telling me I'm on my "period" or should have been aborted, or I'm an orphan or GOD
KNOWS WHAT ELSE I respond back telling them off and I get banned for harassment? I feel like I have to sit there and let people haze me with words because if I dare respond, and they report me for it, I get penalized.

Does enforcement not take into account the messages both parties send, or do they only enforce based on a specific message reported? It's ridiculous that I keep getting penalized while these kids get away with being racist bullies. Please don't tell me to
go to the enforcement thread because every time I do they are snide and ignore my question and tell me that the forums are for finding out why I was suspending and not anything else (which is why I laugh whenever I am told to bring my questions to them, they
could care less about informing me).

I am not at all asking for an ususpension, I know that will never happen, I am simply wondering WHY it is this way?

An email would of been sent to the address linked to your account telling you the length of the suspension or you can log in here

The rep system is completely separate from having enforcement actions on your account so you can have good rep & still be suspended.

Also the rep system is broken because if I am that bad To get a suspension I don't think i should have the rep of a "good player".

Sorry to hear what you have had to put up with.

One question, when you get these messages from players, have you reported them using the tools on you console?

If not, start doing so. Then before responding to the players, block communications with them and move on. Do not respond to them in any way.

Odds are the users harassing you are egging you on so you will respond, then reporting your response.

I do not. Is the option to report a message only on the Xbox one? For 360 it only gives me the option to just report them via their profile. & yes, that seems to happen, I just wish advisers would start looking at the entirety of the conversation and not
just the reported message, especially if it's obvious it's in response to something malicious. Like say someone has a death date to a family member in their bio and the guy you just beat in a game messages you making fun of said dead relative, you respond
with hateful words telling them off and you get suspended because you're the only one that got reported? It just seems ridiculous especially with the Xbox one update that shows you message history now.

 

You have admitted that you send messages back, they in turn report you for your messages. You just fell into the trap as you are harassing them. You maybe just responding, but two wrongs don't make a right. Report them via their profile for communications,
block them.
