    My son's account was suspended and it said it was because he said something over the headset that was inappropriate. He's a minor (only 13) and I never received any email about a suspension. I have tried to find a place where I can contact someone to get
    further information about this and I keep finding that I can file a case review but I've logged in several times under his account as well as mine and there's nothing about a case review. I spoke to someone in customer service that said since it was a child's
    account, I couldn't file a case review. This doesn't make any sense. He's a minor so I should be informed when there's complaint and I should be able to find out the specifics of what the complaint consisted of. Makes me think that people can just make
    random complaints and get other players suspended and Xbox doesn't care to inform all of the parties involved. I would hope that Microsoft would inform parents of minors if they are doing something inappropriate but apparently they don't care. Since we have
    no idea what he did, he's now not going to play using the headset anymore because he's afraid someone will report him again. Why doesn't Microsoft communicate with both parties? They are quick to judge people and not let the other person defend themselves
    or even know why a complaint was issued. Anyone know how I can find out more about this and why I wasn't informed about this?

    Can't migrate account

    Hey there. Sorry to hear about your account region migration issues.

    -

    There's a few things that can stop you from migrating your account.

    1. You changed region in the last 3 months.

    2. You have an active suspension (enforcement or otherwise) on your account.

    3. You have an active Entertainment For All contract.

    4. You're a minor in the current region but won't be a minor in the target region.

    5. You're not a minor in the current region but will be a minor in the target region.

    I can't believe you just jump on there band wagon.

    I bet if you set up an account and sent me it's name and the same to everyone on your friends list and mine. That account would get banned.

    Not all suspensions are eligible for a case review. The enforcement team does investigate each complaint they receive before issuing suspensions. They do not give specifics.

    case review does not work

    A suspension from the enforcement team is decided only after there is enough evidence to bring such a decision. The subject of the enforcement can be found here:

    Since you are trying to ask a review for a minor's account (a minor's account can't ask for a case review) you should do it through the parental account related to the minor's account in question.

    Depending on how often or how serious a person violated the Code of Conduct and misbehaved on Xbox Live, the Enforcement team will issue suspensions as "punishment" for these violations.

    For "minor" violations like cursing or harassing other people, you might get communications suspensions for days or weeks, and for more serious violations like cheating or repeated "minor" violations, the suspension time increases.

    If the person did something so serious, like modifying a console or using modified consoles to cheat, or try to get stuff from the marketplace illegitimately, that account will be "permanently banned".

    Since the way the suspension/banning system works, the suspension has to have an "end date".

    And by setting the end date of the suspension to December 31 in the year 9999, this simply means you won't be able to use that account again in your lifetime (or the lifetime of your kids, or maybe the lifetime of the Xbox Live service, because the alien
    robot overlords destroy our solar system in the year 8645.)

    It's most likely not a permanent ban, but there is an issue with enforcement happening that is telling everyone who has been getting a suspension that they are permanently banned, but the ban won't show on the enforcement site. You can try contacting support to see how long the suspension is, but they won't have information about why you were suspended and they can't lift the suspension. Until the enforcement site is fixed, it is not possible to get more information about the suspension.
