Suspension of accounts

Hello, I received yesterday a e'mail banishing me for a period of 2 months for one reason or supposedly abusive behavior . Following that, I would have liked more detail. Never having on game chat , because I prefer to play with friends in dedicated group
that. Therefore, I do not understand the reason for the ban. In addition to an unknown reason a friend received the same email for me . Why this? I play live for over 5 years and this is the first time I received this stuff .

Suspension of account

i was com banned for most likely just me sayong have a good life in a unflattering way to someone who called my friends sexist slurs and then the same guy reported me because of it and i actually got banned but he didnt get away scotch free bwcause the help
from the xbox/microsoft help but i think im still banned its just dumb how people can get away with cussing up a storm in voice chat and making sexist slurrs in voice chat but people who vent thier anger in text chat get banned intantaneiously (i cant spell
that word) but yeah its just dumb and me complaining

Abusive behaviour isn't limited to in game chat,chances are it was a message you've sent.

I also have this problem. My sons account has had this happen 2 times in the last month. After the last time we have monitor his chatting and messaging strictly. I believe this is incorrect. He has been on live 6-7 years and all of a sudden these issues.
When we sign into enforcement.xbox.com it does not let us click on apply for review. I pay for a service that we are not receiving now sue to this suspension. I understand their are rules but there needs to be a way to speak with the enforcement team and
get information on what it actually is. Considering we are paying for live, we the customers deserve that. If we are being accused of something they should have to show us. otherwise it could all be made up to make more money for microsoft. I have done some
investigating seem many users are having the same issue.

There is absolutely NO one here that can help anyone with enforcement bans, they are final.

Keep in mind they can ban you for anything you did since you signed up.

PS Do not bother calling the 1-800 number (unless you have warranty) as they are a contracted call center that have no clue what an xbox is, and from my personal experience this sites support chat/contact its almost the same with more lies and misdirections

Not sure what a warranty has to do with anything.The reason it's pointless phoning support is that they are nothing whatsoever to do with xbox live enforcement.

Yes,you are paying for a service & you also agreed to follow the rules of that service & accept any punishment if you are caught breaking those rules.

Either read the email sent to the address linked to your account or log in to the enforcement site I linked earlier to see any enforcement action on your account.

Sounds like you have more than one account on your console & one of the accounts has been suspended.

As using a secondary account to avoid a suspension on your main account is against the code of conduct then a console privilege suspension was issued to stop you from doing this.

The console suspension wont show on the enforcement site brandiesel linked but the account suspension will.You can appeal the account suspension if eligible,not the console suspension though.

One of the accounts on your console must be suspended & due to the console suspension all other accounts on that console will have the same restrictions as the suspended account but will work on other devices which is why your account works on your cousins
xbox.

The console suspension should end at the same time as the account suspension ends.

Sounds like a console privilege suspension.

These are issued to prevent someone from using a secondary account to avoid a suspension on their main account which is against the code of conduct.

Your other accounts will work on other devices,not just your sons xbox while the suspension is in place.

Your son can appeal the account suspension if eligible via the link gds 1972 posted but console suspensions can not be appealed.
