    Suspension Notice


    On 7/7/18 My account was suspended. A email was sent to me and I received the suspension. The suspension was ended on 7/16/18 which was about a hour ago. Well now the date has been changed until next month. The email specificially said it was to end a hour
    ago. I spoke to a representative and they directed me here.

    no notice suspension

    hey

    so some reason my xbox live has been suspended, i have recieced any email say this has happening nor why. i was able to sent messages and talk on party chat, until after 4pm. not only do i not have an email telling me why, i also i have had no information
    for how long this will last.

    i want to know why i have been suspended.

    Before you blow your chance at getting a proper case review, think back a bit, and consider the following scenario:

    Let's assume someone sent you the following message:

    Someone: "Hey you are an [expletive]"

    You reply: "No, YOU are an [expletive]" (the other person reports your message, which got you the first suspension)

    Someone: "Oh yeah? Well, . Now go away before I taunt you a second time!!!"

    You reply again: "That's it! You [yet another expletive], [explicit verb] [series of expletives]!!!" (this message also gets reported by the other person, and got you the second suspension that lasts until the next month).

    You see that even if that was one conversation, you used two messages in this example that violated the code of conduct, and therefore resulted in two separate suspensions.

    Please for your own good: If someone tries to draw you into a heated argument, never ever retaliate. Usually, the other person simply laughs at whatever words you throw at them.

    If you really want to hit them where it hurts, report their harassing messages so they can get banned, and then block them.

    Nothing hurts them more than being ignored.
