    Suspension is over, but, mic(s) still not working?


    Hey all.

    My one week communication suspension was up on the 19th of January, but now, a week later I still cannot talk in-game or party chat. Plugged in a different headset and still nothing. When I start a party myself to test the mic, it doesn't even light up to
    show that I'm talking, also, the light on the mute button doesn't even light up. I can't hear anyone talk thru headset, only thru my TV. I have three different mics but only the one controller, it works fine tho. So, I don't know if my suspension is still
    in effect or that I need to update my controller (don't have USB cord for controller to update) If anyone has any thoughts or insights it will be much appreciated!

    Hey Mister Cizl, thank you so much for replying back. Unfortunately, I don't have a friend close by so out of my frustration I broke down and went and bought a new controller and everything is working fine. I guess maybe the headset input on my controller
    is busted, maybe that's why the mute button didn't light? Anyway, thanks again, if I have any other problems I'll come back here. Cheers!

    Hey CLE 126ers! Are you able to toggle the mute to make the light come on or does it not operate at all? Additionally, do you or a friend have another controller you can try out? Post back and let me know how it goes!

    Thanks for the suggestion but I already did all of that on Saturday. Still have a suspension and since it’s 24 hours I can’t submit a case review.

    Xbox One S 3.5mm controller - mic doesn't work

    Xbox firmware I'm assuming, I'm just not sure why some people's mics work and some don't.

    If I'm in a party with someone who can still talk, I can hear them over my headset(s), but they can't hear me talk, and the xbox doesn't pic up any sound from the mic.
