Suspension is over, but, mic(s) still not working?

Hey all. My one week communication suspension was up on the 19th of January, but now, almost a week later I still cannot talk in-game or party chat. Plugged in a different headset and still nothing. When I start a party myself to test the mic, it doesn't
even light up to show that I'm talking, also, the light on the mute button doesn't even light up. I can't hear anyone talk thru headset, only thru my TV. I have three different mics. So, I don't know if my suspension is still in effect or that I need to update
my controller (don't have a charger cord for controller to update) If anyone has any thoughts or insights it will be much appreciated!

I'm having the same problem. Recently I've had my first communication suspension of 24hrs over a heated argument. It is now over but my mic is still unable to be used, I am able to hear others fine but I cannot be heard through my mic. This is so frustrating
Microsoft just messed up my headset without giving me any support what so ever, I called customer support and they just told me to give it a few days. My suspension was only 24hrs and thats how long it should be, not 3 days. Can someone fix my mic?

 

Hey CLE 126ers! Are you able to toggle the mute to make the light come on or does it not operate at all? Additionally, do you or a friend have another controller you can try out? Post back and let me know how it goes!

 

Hey Mister Cizl, thank you so much for replying back. Unfortunately, I don't have a friend close by so out of my frustration I broke down and went and bought a new controller and everything is working fine. I guess maybe the headset input on my controller
is busted, maybe that's why the mute button didn't light? Anyway, thanks again, if I have any other problems I'll come back here. Cheers!
