Suspension Information Required

Our sons have a shared account which has been suspended temporarily until the 12th September and what I am trying to find out is when and why this was applied to the account as the explanation detail added to the account is not specific, so doesn't help
me to pass on the correct advice to whoever it was that has committed some kind of error. I had communication online with Microsoft but they were unable to give a reason etc and passed on the link to this forum. Any help would be greatly appreciated so I can
be confident I am speaking to the correct protagonist!

Yes, I've been there and read the detail listed but it gives nothing in terms of specific information I wanted to make sure I was speaking from a position of knowledge about why the account was suspended and when it was suspended. Why did Microsoft advise
me to come here for the specific reason that they couldn't advise but they said I would get further information here. All pretty frustrating as a parent and having no knowledge of these things

Phone/chat support often tell people to post on the forums when they shouldn't.

They do not deal with enforcement so tell people to come here because they don't know what else to do.

You need to go to the enforcement site Smwutches linked where you can file for a case review if eligible.

The enforcement team may give you a little more info if you ask via the case review but are under no obligation to do so.

If it's a 24 hour suspension then it's not eligible for a case review.

If you go to enforcement.xbox.com you can see more information on your suspension. Once there you can then click on How Do I? Then Submit case review. Keep in mind there are some requirements such as the suspension has to be longer than 24 hours.
