Suspension bans for CoC

Hello, I'm just curious as to why a lot of my friends are being banned for breaking the code of conduct. They all have been having trouble finding out how long they're banned for and also what the ban was for specifically. Many of them believe that it must
have been messages they sent to fellow gamers that may have been not so nice. This is completely understandable except for the fact that I am receiving spam messages about free pizza and fifa tokens left and right. I'm just saying I think the focus should
be on the mass spammers as opposed to some dudes having a little trash talk back and forth. Also, like I'm sure everyone else has said, XB1 has been a complete letdown from day 1, and I've experienced poor customer service on multiple occasions.

My main Xbox Live account received a lifetime ban.

Yes,you pay for a service but you also agree to follow the ToU/CoC while using that service.

You didn't & part of the ToU/CoC does tell you that too many suspensions will lead to a permanent ban.

As per the ToU/CoC you agreed to the enforcement team are under no obligation to provide you with evidence about your ban/suspension.

 

What makes you think the spammers are not being banned too?

How often do you get the spam from the same account?

The spammers use fake silver accounts and are banned as quick as anyone else when caught.

The only problem is they just create another account and continue spamming.

Sending offensive messages to anyone on live will get you a ban, no matter if you are responding to spammers or not.

 

I see where you're coming from. If I were to provide you with a gamertag could you inform me as to how long the ban is active? It would be appreciated.

The only place to ask about bans is in these links.

 

An email would of been sent to the address linked to the banned/suspended account explaining the reason & time of the suspension.

Either read that or post in the forums linked above.

As for your other comment,no,the xbox one has been far from a letdown.

I've had mine since day one & have been more than happy with it.

 

Its of course all a matter of personal opinion and you are stating is if it is a fact that everyone has had an enjoyable experience with it. I still to this day can't get a steady stream of GTA 5 going, and FIFA 15 servers are down on a regular basis. The
party system is still flawed as I've had to hard reset my unit on many occasions due to the fact that I can't hear my friends in the chat. Downloading games has been a known issue as well. The MCC was the biggest disappointment of 2014. Also, the email that
was received indicates no length of time, and the reasoning covers such a broad spectrum of things that its impossible to know which behavior to correct.

 

Not sure where i said it's a fact that everyone is happy with their xbox one.It is a fact that I have been more than happy with my xbox one since launch. Your issues with GTA & Fifa are nothing to do with Microsoft,there was a service alert concerning the
marketplace a couple of weeks ago but apart from that it's been up & running fine.

Party chat does have the odd issue I agree,& MCC is down to 343.

So no,not everyone else has said the xbox one has been a huge letdown from day one,in fact i'd say the majority of people are more than happy with the xbox one.

As for the enforcement action,you say your friends have been sending messages over live that break the CoC,that will be why they are suspended

 

I second POPyaDOMEpiece. Xbox one has been a major letdown, especially when having to deal with poor customer service responses like the most recent on this thread.
