    Suspension and support nonsense


    I received a suspension for 24hrs. But the email sent me to a link that shows I am suspended for 28hrs. By this standard, I am entitled to a case review. However the website does not even give me this option. After trying to find some clarity on the matter
    I contacted support. After a drawn out and patronizing conversation from "Jolly Mae" I finally got the link to this page, and I was essentially told that I may not even get answers from this forum.

    So this list of trash is : suspended without explanation, conflicting timelines, am inability to redress this suspension (despite Xbox'sown timelines that demonstrate I am eligible for a review) and then a bunch of convuluted nonsense from a "fellow gamer"
    on the support chat.

    If you want to contact the Xbox Live Policy & Enforcement Team you can file a Case Review - You can't file a Case Review if the suspension is less than 24 hours or you failed the questionnaire.

    1: Calm down, take a deep breath

    2: You say you defended yourself, but as you should know, that makes no difference. You should always follow the golden rules: (Mute, Block, Report) if you do that
    the person sending you abusive messages will get banned and you won’t.

    3: If you don't follow the golden rules the following will happen, the person you sent the message to will report you, Microsoft will look at the message history and see what you have said and
    ban you.



    Seriously dude it isn't difficult, don't try and be the "big man" and send abusive messages, no matter whether it’s in defense or not, just block them, mute them and
    report them.

    24 hour suspensions are minimal and not available for a case review. Here's some info for ya.

    The Xbox Enforcement Team does not use these forums. For information about your account suspensions or bans sign in at this site with your account at

    No one here on the Xbox Forums or at Xbox Support can provide the reason or proof why you were banned or change the state of ANY suspension or ban.

    communication suspensions can include multiplayer suspension also

    If you read the bottom it does say account suspension not just communication
