Suspension (again)

Discus and support Suspension (again) in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; My son has been suspended again (gamertag: scyzz). He was Suspended Aug 17- Sept 1 and we have just received a new notice suspending him thru Sept 17.... Discussion in 'XBoX on Consoles' started by UnreadySpoon16, Sep 4, 2014.

  1. Suspension (again)

My son has been suspended again (gamertag: scyzz). He was Suspended Aug 17- Sept 1 and we have just received a new notice suspending him thru Sept 17. He still claims he is not the one doing anything wrong (even after an UA investigation that proved it was
his console). Is there more detail you guys can provide? I need to know exactly what is going on... if it is HIM or if he is unknowingly getting into games with known cheaters/ system abusers. Please let me know if you need additional information. Thank
    you!

    :)

Yeppers. It's pretty lame and kind of nazi-like of them to do. But then again, it's microsoft, here. BTW they "Upheld" the permanent suspension... GG. Suspension (again) :(

    Xbox live suspension...AGAIN!

If someone harasses you on xbox live just report that person or block him. Retaliating counts as abuse and can get you banned

The enforcement team doesn't uses the forums and we can't help you with suspensions.

To check your suspension or if eligible for a case review:

A quick look at that profile show call of duty as 7 out of 8 of his last played games, thats his problem right there.

He is either getting into modded lobbies by accident and staying to play in them, or he is modding himself.

You need to get him away from call of duty, or make him play only with people on his friends list that he knows are not modding.

I am very surprised it wasn`t a permanent ban for the same offence twice.

  5. Thank you... I actually said that he needed to start his friend's list over. One of his best friends (I don't know the gamertag) was suspended as well. I think there is more than he is telling us and relying on our lack of knowledge. He claims that he
doesn't know how to MOD - but after he is in one, Is it easy to tell?

  6. Every one of the call of duty games are modded.

Every single time he goes online to play those games, with random people, he is very likely to get into a modded lobby.

It is very easy to tell when the game is modded and i am very sure your son will know the signs by now.

Its as obvious as people flying round the map or being invincible.

He doesn`t need any knowledge of how to mod, he just joins the game of someone that does.

Xbox enforcement play these games just to catch people cheating, if he is seen in those games he will get banned.

The only way to avoid those lobbies are to play with just friends by private invite, or avoid the cod games altogether.

As i say, he is very lucky to get two suspensions rather than a permanent ban or even a console ban, my guess would be there won`t be a third suspension.

Sorry, one more question. After spending $65 on each COD (he has just about every version) and ... and because Microsoft can't control the hackers/ hacking issue, he can no longer play in a match unless he coordinates with other people? Is that what you're
saying? I just want to make sure I am translating correctly! Thank you!

What he's saying that the amount of modders/cheaters in CoD games (especially the older ones), it'd be less risky to set up a private lobby with friends that DON'T mod the game.

A little side note in the future, if you find yourself in a modded lobby again, dashboard and/or shut down your console. Black Ops II is the cleanest CoD in my opinion.

  10. Unfortunately yes, those games are destroyed my modders and its up to the developers to fix the, which they won`t.

Microsoft can only ban those people caught cheating, they cannot fix the games

Once a games has earned its money and all the DLC has been bought, the developers do not care.

Modding is not restricted to COD games either, games like Grand theft auto are modded too, which your kid also plays.

I have been saying for a long time, once a game gets modded it should be removed from microsofts servers until its fixed, force the developers to act.

Its always worth making a note of the game developers that don`t care about their games and avoid their future releases, as they will just end up the same too.

IMO you can prevent this issue from happening again..... It will happen again... Next time the entire console maybe banned.

No xbox for the kid. Have him/her join the ROTC Suspension (again) :) Or, enlist.......

How about you let him use the console and just remove the television from his room...... You already know he is untruthfull anyway.

A little supervision over your child may help many others........

    Good Luck!!!!
