    Suspended unjustly


    Playing with a quad team on blackout. One of my team mates decides to shoot at me when attempt to pick up a gun. So i run to the next one and pick up the gun. When i find another, that team mate decides to kill me from behind and
    [Mod Removed – Profanity] and loot me, so i reported him which aparently means nothing. So we exchange words and yes i did use a bad word. So now im suspended until the 20th. Ive been with this company for years and im the one
    whos takin it? Theres an epidemic of people that do this to players just cause they think its funny and nothing is ever done about it. But as soon as someone reacts, then they are punished. This is

    I have been suspended for harassment unjustly I served my suspension time but still can't talk to friends online why is this

    False Reports?

    Well he has lied.If it was automated then it would be abused & people would be getting suspended unjustly all of the time.

    The enforcement team investigate EVERY complaint.If someone is found to be filing a lot of false complaints then they will get suspended or even banned.

    If you think someone has broken the service rules just report and block that person to prevent harassment. Retaliating is subject to enforcement acts.

    That being said the enforcement team doesn't uses the forums and we can't help you with suspension issues

    Hello,

    The best thing you should have done was just to report the user for Un-Sporting Conduct and move on.

    The Enforcmemt Team takes a zero tolerance approach to swearing in messages.

    If you ever get messages that offend you report them, move on and never reply back.

    As OK Fowl said you should be able to apply for a case review on the Enforcement Site.

    you would be best not replying to a player with any form of swearing, Also looting and
    [Mod Removed – Profanity] someone on a game in most cases would not be an action that can get a player banned, Some games even list
    [Mod Removed – Profanity] as fair play and not a bannable offence (dead by daylight developers)

    You could always if you have a recording of the player team killing, contact the games developer on their forums to see if they can take action as a few games developers will take action against team killers (war gaming for world of tanks do with video evidence)

    I spoke directly to a customer service agent who instructed me to post on the forum because “enforcement” ( bunch of people who dont do anything to help out the community ) monitors everything, they said. So im just doing what an xbox employee instructed
    me to do. Im over this, I was with xbox since 2001 and never played another console and always preached the superiouity of xbox. This has crushed all that. Im selling my xbox and canceling my account. Im so absolutely blown away at the blatent disreguard for
    whats the actual problem. Encorfement team is a joke and so are the xbox code of conduct. You aren’t helping anyone.

    I'm sorry that you got bad information, and you're of course free to do as you wish. However, OK Fowl and the other users are correct - if you did as you said and responded inappropriately to the harassment from the other player, you would be opening up yourself
    to a possible enforcement action. The Xbox Live Code of Conduct provides rules for how we are to behave even when others are misbehaving. Your sole course of action is submitting a case review on the Enforcement website.

    The misinformation stems from the fact that Enforcement DID review the forums when people appealed their suspensions. That was ended a few years ago in favor of the Case Review process.

    The proper solution is to RBI - report the inappropriate behavior, block them from responding to you, and ignore them. In Internet speak, this can also be called "don't feed the trolls".

    The Enforcement team has not used the forums as a means of contact for a few years now.

    Be assured the Enforcement team does look into every report. You will not get notice that an action was taken on a report you submitted. You may get a "Thank you for your report" message, but those are not sent very often.

    If you have not done so, submit the case review and see what happens. Keep in mind, if the decision is upheld, you will have to wait out the suspension as there is nothing further that can be done.

    Next time you run into users that are causing you grief, mute them, report them if they are breaking the code of conduct, and then move on. Don't them get in the way of you enjoying a game.

    Sorry to hear about the situation, but the Xbox live code of conduct
    is there to create an environment that is friendly for everyone! Xbox is a very family oriented company! There are many children who play Xbox as well, and the
    code of conduct is set in place to encourage good sportsmanship and positive communication! (It is there for Equality, so this applies to all users)

    Xbox live is an online service regulated by rules as every online service. Once you accept the rules of The

    By the Microsoft Code of Conduct. Just because something isn’t on this list doesn’t mean it’s OK.

    [Please just remember that you are allowed to say and do what you want, but there will be repercussions for voiding the Code of conduct]

    If there is someone violating the code of conduct then follow the RBI rule (Report, Block, Ignore). Ignore their comments and say nothing back. (If you retaliate, then you may get a suspension) Always choose your words wisely and be the bigger person.
