Suspended from Matchmaking

Hi, just had an issue whereby I found myself Suspended from matchmaking on the Gears of War 4 Matchmaking > Competitive modes. This seems to be happening when you're at the voting stage of the pre-game matchmaking, and people leave, meaning the lobby is
dissolved. This happened to me immediately after my suspension was lifted, and landed me with another suspension.

On the Gears Of war forums by Coalition, many people have reported encountering the same bug. Suspensions seem temporary, but there seems to be no way to find out why you were suspended,

Banned for what?

My son plays gears 4 with me. he has been banned for a week and a half now and i am unable to figure out why. the screen says,"you or a member of your squad is suspended from matchmaking, please try again later." im not suspended and he never quits matches
so whats the deal?

you've been quitting too much

Wouldn't it be from 343i now? :3 But for your question.....if you get booted or leave a certain amount of games in a row, you'll be suspended from Matchmaking for a certain amount of time. (Depending on how often you do it.) i.e. the first suspension is
something like 15 minutes and it goes up each time and after a certain amount of times being suspended, it may or may not suspended you permanently.

Sorry to hear it. However, unfortunately no one here can help with this. In game suspensions are handled solely by the game developers and any questions regarding them must go through them.

Rep is meaningless you wont be suspended for bad rep and you wont have any difficulty in matchmaking with it. Just ignore it

If you've been banned from matchmaking, your console and any account that has used that console will be banned from matchmaking. That's why you have to get a new account and a new XBox if you want to return to public matchmaking.

It'll affect your rep which will make it a lot harder to find games in matchmaking.

I only said it could get you suspended as it's one of those grey areas.I have seen people suspended for things like this in the past but these were extreme cases where the persons were constantly team killing on purpose & disrupting other peoples enjoyment.Basically trolling people,following them around from game to game just to team kill them etc.

Not saying the op is doing this because the op is a bit vague on whats happened.
