    I got suspended from everything for 16 days bc I made a joke and my friend jokingly reported me and I’m banned for 16 days. He’s been begging me to play but I keep telling him I can’t and he doesn’t believe I got suspended anyway to appeal the suspension?

    You would have to go to http://enforcement.xbox.com to see about submitting a case review. Even if it was a joke, if it violated the code of conduct, you can be punished for it.

    Jokes are not a problem. However, if something said in the joke violates the code of conduct, you can be suspended. Freedom of speech does not apply since Microsoft is not part of the government.

    Doesn't matter if it was a friend or the message was a joke,if it violates the ToU/CoC then you risk getting suspended.

    It doesn't matter if your friend reported you as a joke. Profanity is a violation of the code of conduct so you were suspended for it.
