    Suspended and Forced GT Change?


    I was hit with an enforcement action today on account of my GT being deemed "inappropriate" by others. I won't give the GT here because I'm sure I'll be hit with another enforcement action but I will say that ONLY those who are of a mature age have understood
    the meaning, it is a natural occurrence and the first step to how everyone who was born naturally came to be, and the term is in the urban dictionary and shouldn't be taken as a term normally used in RL.

    So when did those few who are easily offended by things that are not directed at them, or even others in this case, become a priority over those who take gaming just as it is...a game? We have games that promote just about everything on Xbox's code of conduct
    list but a name that isn't recognized by those who aren't of a mature age is deemed unacceptable?

    I've placed a ticket and attempted to talk to customer service, which was no help at all, but I have the feeling that they're just going to respond with something like "it's in our code of conduct blah blah" statement.

    I'd love for the community to let me know what they think. I'm not here to argue with anyone from the community; just looking for maybe someone else's view on the subject.

    Hey Boys and Girls I had to re download me profile and it was changed.

    Im all for a squeeky clean system for squeeky clean boys.

    But this Draconian system must be put down.

    The GT in question is LostMyTesticles.

    Such hypocracy I cant put Testicles in a name but I can go to GTA and see real testicles.

    Also what truly made me sad is that I cant pick a new GT.

    Where my free change Microsoft?

    Dont hold out on me.

    It doesn't matter if the name can only be understood by someone who is mature, if it violates the code of conduct, it is not allowed on the Live service. Games themselves can be rated M, but everything else on Live has to remain E for everyone.

    So what is considered Live service? I switched from PS4 to Xbox One and haven’t been on Xbox in a very long time.

    The Terms of Service and Code of Conduct have been updated many times in the life of the Xbox 360 and with each update to it we, the gamers, had to agree with the new updates before we were even allowed access to XBL. So you did
    have notice and you apparently agreed to those terms because you have been using XBL.

    Your GT was changed because it violated the Code of Conduct. XBL is rated "E" for Everyone and our profile content and Gamer Tags must reflect that rating. If they do not then we leave ourselves open for enforcement action being taken against our account(s).

    Yes, you should have to pay money to change it. YOU decided to ignore the rules you agreed to, Microsoft is just holding you to those rules. This is their way of punishing you. If you don't like it then you should not have agreed to their rules to begin with.
    Of course you are free to go elsewhere just be aware that the other services have rules of their own too.
