Suspended account without activity

I appreciate your meaningful and professional response, but since we all have to resort to the "community" for answers considering there is not an appropriate customer service base for this area, may we all be honest and realistic. Of course all reports should be investigated, but we all know they are not, leading to my child's situation and countless other players. Once Microsoft addresses the underlying internal issue, then there will be less of these occurrences. Because one simple does not call Microsoft, get on the line with a human, ask one question, and get an answer.

Yeah, there's no time limit, but my son also just "ran into" this troll 2 days ago (not weeks or months), and there is no chat reciprocated with that individual. In response to your quote "your son was reported,investigated & issued a suspension & during that investigation they found another offence", I don't believe that xbox "investigates" every report on a player they receive. There's players being reported constantly, there's not enough time in a day, there's not enough employees. To investigate every report coming is beyond unrealistic, especially for Microsoft.

I've had several communication bans lasting 7 days at a time. Clearly xbox don't check the messages before enforcement action is taken. It all started with some random kid sending me abusive messages, I replied as a mature adult and didn't use a single bad word or insult but less than hour later I get a comms ban. Now I don't even bother replying to unwanted messages and just report them for harassment.

Ususally it is not possible to have XBox make a ban, just because you want to bully somebody.

At first you can check out the site of the XBox enforcement team.

There you should find some information how it works and also how many complains other players made about your son´s gaming. Or maybe messages he has sent.

Yes, I have looked into the enforcement site and I moderate my child's communication. Unfortunately both scenarios have not provided an explanation of the proof of the claim for the suspension. The issue is no longer the suspension, but that xbox fails to investigate every report they receive, and does not implement a punishment for those who false report. I think if we all be honest, we can clearly see that this is not an isolated incident. False reports lead to false suspensions and bans. The error falls on Microsoft and the management of the "safety department" where inappropriate player behavior is rewarded by the company.
