Suspended account, Lost DLC...

I used an Alternate gamertag for about a year or so and had several DLC packs bought on it. I auto renewed my membership every 3 months on the account until about 2 months ago.

Some where along the line I decided to deleted some of my DLC to open up room on my hard drive and what not. Now when I go to log into the account, it says that the account is suspended. Every time I try an log into the account, it gives me the message saying
my account is suspended and then signs me in offline where I am unable to licence transfer. (Which doesn't make much sense why I'd have to be online to transfer)

I know for a fact my licence transfer is free, for I've never licensed transferred on the account since I've owned it. So I basically have unused DLC sitting on the account that I can't re-download and don't really feel like buying again if I can avoid it.

Any suggestions?

Meaningless Suspension

I got suspended till year 9999 and due to the actions I made and reasons I was given I highly Contest Against this Illegitimate action Microsoft made to my account

Suspending for things I did not do I would very much appreciate my account back

 

You lose everything on a banned account,a licence transfer will not be possible.

 

It isn't "Banned" It's suspended until I renew the membership, (I think)

Same thing,until you settle the bill your account is basically banned and you will have no access to any content on it.

 

Would a trial work, or would it HAVE to be a membership?

 

If your account has been suspended because of a billing issue, it means you probably have auto renew turned on and no payment has been made.

Your account is therefore in arrears and your account will be suspended until you pay up.

A trial card will not get your account unsuspended.

 

I canceled the auto renewal through my bank, though.

I'm certain of this because when you go to remove a payment option via your Xbox, it says that it is unable to remove because it is attached to an active membership.

I feel as if this is something I need to do contact my bank about.

You needed to cancel auto renew on your xbox account,not on your bank account.

You cannot remove your card on an active gold account ,without replacing it with another payment option,but you can turn off auto renew at any time.

If you left it on and told your bank not to allow payment,that`s where your problem lies.

Turn your auto renew off. AND only use prepaid cards. Works for me. When my prepaid runs out my account just turns to silver until I renew. my tenure (for Gold) remains.

 

I will never put a credit card number online.
