Suspenaion that happened to me and i haven't even had internet for xbox live...

i got an email saying there was enforcement being done to my account. I manage to talk in chat to Gabriel to find out it was suspended for 24 hours. I have screenshots of the email, from *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***, and my chat with Gabriel. I would like to know why my
account was suspended when i haven't even been able to get on in the first place. I think because i am doing this on my phone that i can't attach the screenshots, but i can certainly email them if needed. The suspension is already lifted, but i would like
to know why it happened in the first place.

Thank you. This just happened to me. I moved a month ago and am just now getting my second xbox up and running. It would not connect me to xbox live even though I was connected to the Internet and it tested fine. I had this xbox setup to auto log me in.
Once I signed out and back in, it asked me to put in my password again. I'm guessing because I hadn't used it in so long. Maybe the same thing happened to you.

Remember all reports need to be investigated,which can take time so chances are you were suspended for something that happened months ago.

 

Yes, like i said before, i got an email. I had a chat with Gabriel from microsoft support. I know the duration of the suspension, i know it's gone, but i don't know what it is for. I would like to know what it was for.

Also, that could have been a possibility if i got it months ago. I got my xbox one just weeks ago for christmas. Before that i wasn't even touching my xbox 360 for over a year. So me barely being on xbox one for a couple days when i had internet at my parents
place, is really confusing me on how i would get suspended within a month of having it and hardly being able to get on xbox live.

The suspension was for 24 hours. Can you tell me possible reasons for a 24 hour suspension while i'm waiting to know exactly what it was for?

 

No one in the forums can provide you with that information. Only the enforcement team provides that information. The reason you were banned should have been included in the e-mail that you received.

 

24 hour suspensions are typically for communication offences so it was either something you've said in game chat or a message you've sent.

Phone/chat support are nothing whatsoever to do with xbox live enforcement.

As Genesis said,the reason would be in the email you received.
