So, the same issue as last time cropped up. On my series S, I couldn't connect to Live with my 360 titles. I started up my 360, and I couldn't connect there, either. Last time, I changed my gamertag, redownloaded my profile, and it worked like a charm. I tried it this time and not only did my classic gamertag not update, but now I can't download my profile due to, "Issues with my credentials...", just like last time. I'm out of ideas, and I know for a fact it has nothing to do with the Xbox 360 itself due it being a network error.

I am sorry to know about your issue; However, we have multiple detailed troubleshooting steps for this matter on the official Xbox website to help you take care of it. Before going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned on the link I was referring to, I would like you to go through the following steps to clear your Mac address and then perform a quick power cycle on your console:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

Another thing you should check is your NAT type. I would like you to check your NAT type if open because that could sometimes interfere. to check for the NAT type you can follow the steps below:

Settings > Network Settings > NAT type => It should be open.

If the NAT type is not open, you will need to open some ports with your internet provider. These ports must be open for Xbox Live to work: Port 88 (UDP) Port 3074 (UDP and TCP) Port 53 (UDP and TCP) Port 80 (TCP) Port 500 (UDP) Port 3544 (UDP) Port 4500 (UDP).

Hi,

did you change your Gamertag ? In this (and other) cases you must download your profile again to make it work ! You should give it a try even if you did not change the Gt.

I tried this a few days ago and it worked like a charm! I've been thoroughly testing it, and nothing has come up, so it's finally fixed at last. Thank you for the help, it's a huge thing you've done for me, really.

Its very hard to believe 343i did not notice these issues while beta testing internally. The achievement glitches are very common and I suspect 343i turned a blind eye in order to ship the DLC in time.

If you suspect an internal electrical problem with it,. Demand a replacment. I wouldnt even power it up.
