    Surround sound wireless headset.


    Hello,

    I'm using the AFTERGLOW AG9+ (Xbox version) and the surround sound is the other way around... I checked it on multiple games and it's very annoying. ( I don't have my headset the wrong way.) Is there a way to switch the surround sound?

    Summary: I hear stuff (shots) from the LEFT, but they are coming from the RIGHT.

    Not uncommon price point High end gaming headsets usually go for $250-400 depending on brand. Wireless headsets like Astros A50 and Tritton Warhead were $300 for 360 last Gen.
    That being said it all comes down to how much you want surround sound for MP. $300 plus is a stretch for most Gamers. So take your Pick MCC Edition Surround Sound Wireless Headset or WII U?

    So we can take a closer look with you, can you reply back with some further details on the issue you're seeing?

    1. Are you connecting the headset via a wireless transmitter, or plugged into your Xbox One controller?

    2. If you're plugging it into the controller, does that controller have an included 3.5mm headset jack, or are you using a headset adapter with the controller?

    3. How recently did this start? Has the sound come through properly on this headset before, or has it always been like this?

    4. What troubleshooting steps, if any, have you already tried for this issue? We want to make sure we don't retrace any steps.

    In addition, I found a guide from the headset's manufacturer which has some tips for setup and troubleshooting that might help.

    Why aren't any xbox one headsets surround sound?

    I think everybody is waiting for a headset with surround sound, including me. It would also be nice if a wireless headset becomes available soon.

    Optical Out with No Surround Sound

    Calm down dude, Nobody except you can get surround sound out of the optical port of an Xbox One. Turtle Beach has some very nice headsets, We have a combination of the wired surround sound sets and 3 different types of wireless surround sound sets. The
    XP500 and the Tango are our favorites and sound great with awesome wireless chat that also allows you to connect cell phone to get calls during gaming through Bluetooth.

    I know the cheaper Turtle Beach has had its problems but most of that is from too much wireless noise from old wireless routers. That is easy to fix and they sound darn good also.

    By the way, the Triton Headsets also do not work with the Xbox One to get surround sound.

    i have a surround sound system hooked into my XB-one. I really am waiting for a wireless headset. I like being totally wire free. but thats just me. I enjoy true surround sound.

    You really should post what your budget is you can get decent headset for not much money all they way up to $299 wireless surround sound headsets.
